🎥 About the Film

“Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot” shines a light on the realities faced by children in foster care — and the urgent need for families willing to open their hearts and homes. It tells the remarkable true story of how a small Texas church sparked a statewide movement of hope and healing for children in need.

This special event will also feature brief remarks from CASA of Val Verde County and SJRC Belong staff about ways you can get involved and make a difference locally.

Refreshments will be provided.
